During my internship at Draad I was assigned to the following project: The redesign of the webshop Babassu, a beauty and cosmetic brand. Their webshop design was outdated and in need of a fresh new look. My job involved the creation of a new attractive and interactive design that would help them restore their market position.

Target Audience

Before the project’s kickoff, researched had already been finished for me. This entailed persona’s and benchmark research. The target audience in this project consist of three groups of women:

  1. Women between 35 and 60 years old, business women
  2. Women between 30 and 50 years old, young mothers
  3. Women between 23 and 32 years old, students or a starters job.


After analyzing the performed research, I collected all the insights and processed them into wireframes. I further studied the design patterns of websites from similar businesses. These inspired the redesign of Babassu

Mobile first

After determining the wireframes, I designed a HiFi prototype. The designs of this prototype will be presented to the client. When approved, the redesign will be implemented on Babassu’s website.
