Choco & Zo
Choco & Zo is a specialist coffee, tea, chocolate and patisserie shop. They exude vintage with a touch of industrialism. As they were going to expand their offering to patisserie, they wanted a new logo.

Over a delicious coffee from Choco & Zo, I asked the client’s about their wishes for a new logo. The client came up with two options for a logo: a logo with text only, or a logo with icons. A requirement for the logo is a classy look. After all, cheap does not fit their branding.
After exploring insights, I started looking for inspiration from similar shops, as well as platforms such as Dribbble and Pinterest. With all this inspiration, I started sketching out all my ideas on paper.
Using sketches, several versions of the logo were worked out. On the one hand classy logos and typographic, on the other hand logos with icons.
After presenting the different versions of the logos, the client provided feedback that allowed me to create the next version of the logo. Choco & Zo liked the logo with the icons but wanted another icon for patisserie which was more in line with the other icons.
With the final logo, I created brand assets such as a business card, label card and a ribbon for boxes.
Caroline has her own coaching practice and I was allowed to help her set up a website and accompanying brand identity.
